President

Frank Hernandez recently earned his Master’s Degree in Public Health from California State University Long Beach.  He is currently employed by the County of Orange Health Care Agency’s Division of Health Promotion and holds a teaching position at Santa Ana College at the Public Service Institute (PSI).   His work with Health Promotion and the college spans over a decade providing technical assistance to community-based organizations, nongovernmental agencies, and consultant agencies.  He has worked with the community to provide strategic planning, asset mapping, program evaluation , grant monitoring and negotiation and community collaborative building, just to mention a few.  Frank has worked with the Mexican Consulates local office to plan health interventions and prevention activities for the County's migrant population during the annual “Bi-National Health Week.”
Frank believes the social determinants of health have a huge influence on the long-term prosperity of communities.  His passion is to provide communities suffering with low health outcomes that are vital to attain optimal health with adequate resources, education and strategies to overcome adversity.

Erin Ulibarri has been the Health Educator with the Orange County Office on Aging since 2006.  In this position, Erin coordinates county senior health summits, writes monthly health and nutrition articles, conducts community outreach, gives health presentations, and serves as a resource for health and senior services professionals.  She was also a past chair for the Down with Falls Coalition and now serves as technical support for the Coalition as well as publishing a quarterly newsletter. 

Prior to working at the Office on Aging, Erin worked for the Social Services Agency at Orangewood Children's Home from 1999-2006.  In this position she worked with a diverse group of children; all backgrounds, ethnicities, and behaviors.  On a daily basis, Erin would work to instill healthy habits into the lives of the children at the shelter.

Erin's primary insterests related to public health are physical activity and nutrition which she makes a point of including when educating the older population. 

Erin graduated from UC Davis in 1998 with a BS in Physiology, Neurobioogy and Behavior and a minor in Psychology and CSU Long Beach in 2005 with a Master of Public Health.
